About Us

A

fter a 37 year, architectural career, I retired to the seaside community of Sand Hill Cove in Narragansett, Rhode Island. I walk most mornings from my home to the Port of Galilee and almost always find something of interest to photograph. I enjoy photographing shore birds, flowers, sunrises, sunsets and coastal scenes. It's easy to sit for hours enjoying this great coastal environment and waiting to capture that perfect shot.

Over the last few years I have expanded my area of interest to all of South County and this is the photography that I present at art festivals, farmers markets, local community events and as a founding member of the Narragansett Arts Guild. I look for images that will have special meaning for both residents of South County and visitors to our communities.

A photograph is a moment in time that will last an eternity

I have a strong interest in the preservation of the port of Galilee as a fishing community, and I support the fishermen who work from the port. I have images of over 200 fishing boats that sail from and bring their catches home to Galilee. Like many others, I am concerned that without appropriate regulation of the fishing industry this valuable resource will be unable to survive.

I feel very fortunate to live in this beautiful community and enjoy sharing it with others through my photographic images.

Photography from Sand Hill Cove is a member of the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce.
